10 Clinton Street, New York, NY

Originally built in 1853, the Chasam Sopher synagogue was a straightforward renovation project. Shuster renovated the existing run-down synagogue by restoring the Holy Ark and the 150 year old wood floor, and expertly replacing all of the windows, custom made for the project. All of the stained glass was replaced, and the lower sanctuary was totally modernized and converted to beautiful hall for events. Shuster restored and installed benches and incorporated new lighting and a new HVAC system.
