Shuster Construction is fully equipped and accredited to serve as General Contractor (GC) on projects that have completed design phases and do not require pre-construction consulting services.
Accordingly, Shuster works closely with the architects and building engineers to absorb the details of the design objectives, estimates costs and resources, finalizes construction documentation, contracts with tradespeople, and tightly supervises all aspects of site activity, maintenance, procurement, safety, and security.
Since a GC holds all the subcontracts, this delivery method grants ownership the most hands-off approach and is therefore most suitable for owners that prefer to focus on priorities other than construction, lack the appropriate knowledge and experience to analyze and influence the construction process, or both.
